Use silicone adhesive caulking (not
included) to seal the gap between the
wall plate and the mounting surface to
prevent water seepage into the J-box.

Attaching the Light

Determine which machine screws fit the threaded holes in
the J-box. Insert them through the mounting holes in the
wall plate and in the threaded holes in the J-box and tighten.
Tighten the machine screws until snug with the included
Allen wrench.
For Surface Box Mounting ONLY:
Remove the protective liner from the gasket, align the center hole of the gasket
with that of the mounting strap, and apply the gasket to the outer edge of the
surface mounting box as shown.
NOTE: Make sure the gasket properly seals the gap between the wall plate and
electrical box to prevent water from seeping into the j-box.
NOTE: If the holes do not match up with the
holes in the junction box, loosen the base
by turning the collar ring toward the wall
plate until snug.
