d) Do not damage the cable. Never use the cable to carry, pull or disconnect the power tool.
Keep the yarn away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating an outdoor power tool, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
Using a cable suitable for external use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operation of a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a power supply
protected by a residual current (DCR) device. Using a DCR reduces the risk of electric
shock.
3) P
S
ERSONAL
ECURITY
a) Stay tuned, watch what you do and use common sense when operating the power tool.
Do not use the power tool when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medications. A moment of distraction when operating the power tool can result in serious
injury.
b) Use safety equipment. Always wear goggles. Wearing safety equipment such as dust
mask, non-slip safety shoes, safety helmet or ear protection, will reduce the risk of injury.
c) Avoid accidental starts. Make sure the switch is in the off position before inserting the
plug. Loading power tools with your finger on the switch or connecting the power tools
when the switch is in the on position increases the likelihood of accidents.
d) Remove all adjustment keys before turning on the power tool. A key attached to a
rotating part of the tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not exceed range. Keep your feet firmly on the ground at all times. This will allow you
to maintain control over the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or accessories. Keep hair, clothes and gloves
away from the power tool. Loose clothing, accessories or long hair may become trapped
in the rotating parts.
g) If there are devices to connect dust collection and extraction devices, make sure they
are connected and used correctly. The use of these devices may reduce dust-related
risks.
4) U
SE AND CARE OF POWER TOOL
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for the purpose you want. A
power tool will achieve better results and will be safer if used in the context for which it
was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch cannot be turned on and off. A power tool with a
damaged switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Unplug the power supply plug and/or remove the battery before making adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce
the risk of accidentally turning on the power tool.
d) Store power tools, when not in use, out of the reach of children and do not allow
people who are not familiar with the power tool or these instructions to operate. Power
tools are potentially dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or moving parts trapped, breaks, or any
other feature that may affect the operation of the power tool. If damaged, the power tool
should be replaced. Many accidents are caused by the use of poorly maintained power
tools.
