f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools and sharp cutting
edges are less likely to be obstructed and easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and cutting tools, etc., in accordance with these
instructions and in the manner intended for the specific type of power tool, taking into
account the working conditions and the work that needs to be done. Using a power tool
for which it has not been planned can lead to dangerous situations.
h) PREVENTIVE MEASURES ON THE WORK ENVIRONMENT
1) The machine should be used in dry environments with maximum humidity levels of
90%.
2) The ambient temperature must be between -10 and 40ºC.
3) Avoid welding in the sun or rain. Do not allow water to enter the machine.
4) Avoid welding in dusty s or in corrosive gas environment.
5) Avoid welding with gas in a windy environment.
5) S
AFETY STANDARDS
The welding machine has a protection circuit of overvoltage, overload and overheating. When
the voltage, output current or temperature of the machine exceeds the safe value, the welder
will stop working automatically. However, overuse (such as overvoltage) will result in damage
to the machine. To avoid this, the user should be careful with the following:
a) The work area should be ventilated. It is important for the performance and longevity of
the machine. The welder is powerful, when in use generates high currents, and the
natural wind will not meet the cooling requirements of the machine. Therefore, the
machine has a fan to cool it down. Make sure that the output is not covered and that they
are 30cm free around you.
b) Don't overload. You must check the maximum service current (response to the selected
service cycle). Keep the welding current not exceeding the maximum service cycle
current. Overloading will damage and burn the machine.
c) No overvoltage. The supply voltage can be found in the diagram of the main technical
data. Automatic voltage compensation circuit ensures that the welding current remains in
the allowed range. If the power voltage is greater than the allowed range it will damage
the machine components. You must understand this situation and take preventive
measures.
d) Correct grounding of the machine. Before operation, you must ensure that the electrical
installation where the machine will be connected is properly grounded. Avoiding static
electricity, and accidents because of electricity leaks.
e) If the welding time exceeds the service cycle, the machine stops working for your
protection. When the machine is overheated, the temperature control indicator has the
red indicator light on. In this situation, it is not necessary to unplug the outlet, leaving the
fan to cool the machine. When the indicator light goes out, and the temperature drops,
you can weld again.
