General
This Electra Installation and Maintenance Guide introduces the operation, installation and use of the
faucet. Please read the instructions carefully prior to installation and save them for reference where
servicing may be needed. If any fault or malfunction occurs in the faucet, please seek the best possible
advice at an expert HVAC store.
Operation
The touchless Electra lavatory faucet is switched on and off by a sensor-controlled solenoid valve.
Placing your hands within the sensor's recognition range opens the solenoid valve and water starts to
flow. When you withdraw your hands, Electra turns itself off automatically following a preset afterflow
period.
Any basin that Oras Electra is installed on must not be fitted with a plug.
Cleaning the faucets
Regular cleaning of the faucet surfaces should be carried out using a neutral liquid cleaner. Do not use
corrosive and/or abrasive agents. Do not clean the faucet with a high-pressure washer.
Risk of freezing
It is essential to ensure that water in the faucet and solenoid valve does not freeze.
Bus transformer
(figure 1)
The electric current feed for wall-mounted lavatory faucets passes through a transformer e.g. Oras bus
transformer no. 199099. A maximum of 15 Oras Electra wall-mounted products can be connected to
the bus transformer. The products can be connected individually or chained, and the total length of
cabling must not exceed 50 metres.

– Flush the piping with the enclosed flushing tube (4) as follows:
– Unscrew the litter filter (5) from the faucet body and screw the flushing tube in its place.
– Attach the drain hose (ø 13 mm) to the flushing tube.
– Open the water inlet to the faucet.
– Once the flushing process is completed, close the water inlet to the faucet and screw the litter filter
(5) back in place.
