WARNING!
Do not sit on the scooter or try to move it without first checking that the frame and
the rear trolley are firmly inserted. The frame could accidentally detach from the
trolley and cause injury or damage.
WARNING!
• Never sit on the scooter when the "free wheel" lever is inserted.
• Never disengage the stopping brake when you are using the scooter.
WARNING!
Always check that the stopping brake of the scooter is inserted before inserting the
key in the ignition and turning it to the ON position.
11.5 Wheel locking/unlocking function
The scooter has a lever to lock/unlock the wheels.

• To disengage the stop brake and unlock the scooter wheels, push the lever downwards towards
the letter N (Fig. 8).
• To engage the brake and lock the scooter wheels, push the lever upwards towards the letter D
(Fig. 8).
WARNING!
• If the scooter is pushed too fast with the wheels unlocked, the engine will act like a
generator and make the scooter difficult to push;
• Do not place the scooter in unlocked wheels mode when you are on a slope;
• Never disengage the stopping brake when you are using the scooter;
• Always check that the stopping brake of the scooter is inserted before inserting the
key in the ignition and turning it to the ON position.
12. STARTING THE SCOOTER FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Connect the battery cables
• Ensure that the parking brake is in position D, otherwise as soon as the scooter is started it
will produce an intermittent noise to warn of the problem
• Adjust the seat, backrest and armrests according to your postural needs, as previously
explained
• Adjust the handlebars, as previously explained
• Ensure that the rear view mirrors are properly aligned
• Set the driving speed to minimum, for the first ride
