Lifting handles
The machine has four lifting handles. All lift handles are concealed.
Pull the handles to use them, and push them out of the way when
not in use. Two of the lift handles (A) are shown in Fig. 1.

Gearbox lubrication guide:
The gearbox lubricant should be changed when first operated after the first 30 hours of operation and
every 2 500 hours thereafter. The proper gearbox lubricant is a multi-purpose lubricant.
To change the lubricant:
1. Remove the drain plug (A), Fig. 4, and
the Fill Plug (B). Drain the dirty oil
thoroughly.
2. Tighten the drain plug (A).
3. Fill with clean lubricant through the
hole (B).
4. Tighten the fill plug (B).

Lifting the planer
If any type of device is used to lift the machine, be sure to attach it
to the lifting handles only. Make sure the machine is level while
lifting, as shown in Fig. 2.
