Ensure that the machine is completely turned off and at a complete stop prior to adjusting
the unit. Disconnect the machine from the power source. Use work gloves for your own
safety.
Blade angle adjustment
Adjust the angle of the blade in order to ensure the best stripping performance of the unit.
If the blade jumps from the floor the angle may be too shallow.
Using an angle that is too steep may cause damage to the floor.
Ensure that the machine is completely turned off and at a complete stop prior to adjusting
the unit. Disconnect the unit from the power source.
Weight adjustment
• The weight has 3 different positions for specific use.
h Storage position (A) - set the weight into this
position when the machine is out of use.
h Transport position (B) - set the weight into this
position when the machine is transported. The
handle can be used as an attachment point
for cranes.
h Working position (C) - set the weight into this
position before you start working with the
machine.
• The weight is secured with a positioning pin which
is secured with a safety pin.
• Push the safety pin and pull the positioning pin out
from the whole to be able to change the position of
the blade.
• Push back the positioning pin after you set the
weight into the desired position and release the
safety pin.
Start up and use
• Before starting the machine put on all necessary
protective devices as recommended in "Safety
instructions" on page 6.
• Plug the machine into the proper power supply and
press the green button on the upper handle bar. Be
prepared that the blade will start moving immedi-
ately.
• Activate the forward traction of the machine by:
h Locking the pedal for continuous traction
forward and adjust the pressure on the wheels
from the pedal mechanism if needed (Fig. 11).
h Pushing the handle bar forward with released
pedal at all times during operation to activate the worm gear. (Releasing the pedal is
perform by pushing the handle bar harder forward until it unlocks.)
• Move the machine forward into the coverings. The oscillating blade should slice under the
material and remove it from the floor.
• If the drive motor does not provide enough force when removing hard glued coverings, the
user needs to push harder the machine forward with released pedal.
