Never force the machine. If the machine is forced too hard manually, the drive motor will
stop and/or damage. Backward movement of the machine is to be done manually with
released pedal.
Never let the rear wheels leave the floor because it is dangerous for the user and the ma-
chine may be damaged (Fig. 8)!
• If you are having difficulties removing the material, use the corner of the blade.
• Press the red button on the upper handle to stop the machine.
Storing the machine
The machine should be cleaned immediately after each use.
Ensure that the storage area is well-ventilated, dry, covered or indoor, free of any potential
fire hazards and the temperature is above freezing for increased protection and longevity of
the unit.
Clean the wheels and body, and lubricate the machine prior to storage.
Secure when transporting with straps or with cable hooks.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Maintenance plan
The machine has been specially designed to reduce the time needed for maintenance work to a
minimum. However, some maintenance work is essential.
This will enable the machine to operate in a trouble-free manner and give you good service for
many years.
Always interrupt the energy supply before performing maintenance work!
• Remove the mains plug!
• Allow the motor to cool down fully.
Daily or after every 10 hours of operation:
• Clean the outside of the machine.
Do not use solvents.
• Check the condition of the blade.
Weekly or after every 50 hours of operation:
• Check the bearings (Arrange for after-sales service to change damaged bearings.)
• Check screwed connections (Tighten any loose screwed connections, arrange for after-sales
service to change any damaged assemblies.)
Lubrication
The machine has to be lubricated on a daily basis
before starting the operation (Fig. 12). The lubrica-
tor nipples are located on the side of the main body.
Press maximum 3 to 4 times with the grease gun.
Never press too much grease into the machine.
Blade replacement
Ensure that the floor scraper is completely turned off,
cooled, and at a complete stop prior to maintaining
the unit. Disconnect the unit from the power source.
Use work gloves for your own safety.
• Tip the machine and secure the tipped machine
from tilting over.
• Clean and loosen the screws securing the blade into the blade holder.
• Remove the used blade.
• Place the new blade into the blade holder and secure it with the screws.
