4. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in
this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
Andis.
5. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or
plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or
damaged, or dropped into water. Return the appliance
to an Andis authorized service station for examination and
repair.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
8. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray)
products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
9. Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken blade or
comb, as injury to the skin may occur.
10. To disconnect turn control to OFF then remove plug from
outlet.
11. Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to
recharge.

CHARGING TRIMMER
The AC adapter is intended for use with Andis model D-8 lithium-ion battery with
a rated capacity of 3.7V
carton. Plug the AC adapter into a 120V AC outlet, or according to your local power
standards. Plug the adapter cord directly into the bottom of the trimmer (Figure A).
The trimmer on/off switch must be in the OFF position for the battery to charge. The
green light on the trimmer will turn on.
