8. Clean all debris (gravel, sand, floating debris, etc.) from the basin using a mild detergent and water.
9. Check the pump system components (basin, pump, etc.) for any build-up (sludge, sediment, minerals,
etc.) that would inhibit functionality of the components, and clean as required. If significant, replace
affected components.
10. Reassemble parts in reverse order.
• Tighten to a torque screws 18–20 in.-lbs.
11. Test operation of the pump system. Refer to
Pump Maintenance
NOTE: Refer to the pump manual for additional information.
1. Disconnect power to the pump.
2. Disconnect the pump from the discharge plumbing.
3. Remove pump from the basin.
4. Clean the inlet screen using a mild detergent and water. Reinstall.
5. Remove the six pump base screws to remove.
6. Clean inside the base around the impeller using a mild detergent and water.
IMPORTANT: Do not remove impeller.
7. Reinstall the base, making sure seal ring is seated properly in groove.
• Tighten the screws to a torque of 10–15 in.-lbs.
