7) Lay the Seat (J) face down on a clean protected surface, with the back of the seat hanging over the
edge. Center the leg assembly on the seat and making sure that the seat remains in contact with the
back legs, fasten in place with 2¾" Black Screws (R) through the holes in the front and side aprons
into the seat. Now slide the Back Apron (I) toward the back of the seat between the side aprons.
Making sure that no part of the back apron hangs over the back of the seat, fasten the back apron
to the seat with 2¾" Black Screws (R). Insert a #8 x 1¾" Pan Head Screw (Q) through the hole in
each back leg into the seat. See FIGURE 6.

8) For added strength screw a 1¼" Black Screw (S) through the bottom of both lower side stretchers into
the front and back legs. Also screw a black screw into the bottom of both ends of the front stretcher
and back stretcher. See FIGURE 7.
9) Glue a Wood Button (T) in each of the counter sunk screw holes in the front and back legs.

To insert screw at proper angle, the
screw head should be approximately
1/2" from the nearest surface when
starting screw.
