Tips for operating
For optimal use of the solar system, note the following:
• The solar system generates different amounts of electricity depending on the amount of sunlight during the
day. The more sunlight falls on the solar system, the more electricity is generated. The amount of electricity
generated is affected by the following conditions:
• Cloudy weather
• Seasonal solar radiation
• Variations in the angle of the sun
• Shading or soiling of the solar system
• The performance of the solar panel decreases the more the solar panel heats up. Ensure adequate ventilation
and avoid excessive solar radiation.
• If the solar panel has heated up a lot, put the vehicle in the shade to cool down the solar panel.
9 Cleaning and maintenance

• Broken solar panel glass may cause electric shock or fire. These panels cannot be repaired and
should be replaced immediately. Contact an authorized service agent.
• Clean the battery with a dry cloth.
