Description of the Scale (see Fig. 1):

Remove the weighed material from the scales to avoid damaging them.
Weighing
1. Unfold the scale and place it on a flat, hard and stable surface.
2. Place a bowl (not included) on the scale before you start weighing.
3. Turn on weighing mode by pressing the

4. Select the weight unit of choice by repeatedly pressing the UNIT button.
5. Place the weighed object in the bowl. The LCD screen will display the object's weight.

TARE Function (Incremental Weighing)
The TARE function is used to weigh individual doses as they are added to those already on the scale.
1. Place the first dose on the scale and the screen will show its weight.

Battery Replacement
1. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. You may need to use another object,
such as a coin, to open the compartment.
2. Remove the drained battery.
3. Insert a new 1× 3 V CR2032 battery. Make sure to observe correct polarity. Use alkaline batteries
only. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
4. Close the cover.
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. To clean the scale, use a moist cloth and make sure that water does not enter the interior of
the scale. Do not use chemical detergents or detergents with abrasive effect. Do not submerse
the scale in water!
2. All plastic components must be cleaned immediately after coming into contact with greasy
substances such as spice, vinegar or seasoning. Prevent staining the scale with acidic citrus juice!
3. Always keep the scale in horizontal position.
