Even if you just wish to check that your equipment is correctly
sealed, always do so outside.
Never attempt to locate leaks using a flame. Use a gas leak
detecting liquid.
Important:
An overall inspection and leaks check must be carried out at least
annually and always after changing the cartridge.
Only then the equipment is safe to be used.
C - OPERATION
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Do not use your stove at a distance closer than 20cm
to a wall or flammable object, nor closer than 1 metre to
a ceiling.
WARNING: Accessible parts may be very hot.
Keep out of reach of children.
Never touch the pan support (3) or the burner during or just
after using the equipment.
Never use the equipment without the pan support (Fig. 4).
Use oven gloves when handling the pan support. Position the
equipment on a stable, horizontal surface. Do not move the
device when it is in operation.
Do not use a container for cooking which is smaller than 12 cm
or larger than 20 cm in diameter.
Do not use the device if the gas cartridge is not in a vertical
position (Fig. 7C).
Beware of flare-ups resulting from the combustion of liquid
butane rather than vaporised butane. Should this occur,
re-position the equipment and turn the control knobs off.
In the event of a leak (smell of gas), close all valves.
After use, wait for the stove to cool down completely before
placing it inside the carry bag for transport and storage.
Always disconnect the cartridge before putting the stove into
the carry bag.
Never store cartridges inside the carry bag, but use the
outside pockets (Fig.9).
Avoid twisting the flexible hose.
During operation, the temperature of the support base may be
elevated. The device should not be placed on a combustible
surface (plastic, tablecloth, etc.). Place an adequate, non-
combustible, thermal insulating material between the device
and its support base.
1) Lighting up
- Open the valve of the regulator (3) (Fig. 3).
