L. POWER INPUT: Connect included power cord to amplifier
here, in accordance with the voltage and frequency ratings list-
ed on rear panel of amplifier. Power input's integral fuse holder
houses a spare fuse. Replace only with a fuse of the same cur-
rent and voltage rating as printed on the back of the amplifier.
M. POWER: Turns amplifier on and off. After turning this switch
ON, wait 30 seconds for tubes to warm up, then turn STANDBY
switch (N) to ON to take amp out of STANDBY mode. When
turning amplifier off, place amp in STANDBY mode by turning
STANDBY switch OFF for 10 seconds before turning POWER
switch OFF.
N. STANDBY: Place this switch in OFF position to put ampli-
fier in STANDBY mode. This should be done when taking
a break from playing or before turning amplifier off. Using
STANDBY mode prolongs tube life.
O. POWER LEVEL SWITCH: Selects full (15W) or 1/4 (4W) power.
P.
EFFECTS LOOP: Connect SEND to external effect input;
connect RETURN to external effect output. Effects RETURN
can also be used as an input for an auxiliary preamp bypass-
ing this amplifier's preamp, and will still allow use of Power
Level Switch, Reverb, Resonance and Presence.
Q. AUDIO INPUT: Connect to output of music player, com-
puter or other audio device. Stereo input signal is mixed
to mono and blended with instrument signal, and will
play through the speaker or headphones. Audio input
level can only be controlled by the external device.
R. SPEAKER-EMULATED HEADPHONE/RECORDING
OUTPUT: Output for headphones or recording input
device such as computers and DAW systems. Audio
input is mixed with this signal to enable play-along,
and speaker emulator circuit changes amp tone to
match the speaker contribution to overall amplifier
tone. Output is designed to sound like the 5150 Iconic
4x12" speaker cabinet, using analog circuitry to elimi-
nate latency. Note: Connecting to this jack automatically
mutes power amp and speaker; resonance and presence
controls will not affect tone.
S. FOOTSWITCH JACK: Connect included footswitch here
(see illustration at right). Footswitch enables easy chan-
nel selection and disables control panel CHANNEL ONE/
TWO SELECT switch (B).
T.
LOAD IMPEDANCE SWITCH: Selects amp output imped-
ance (4, 8 or 16 ohms) to match speaker load. NOTE: If using
the internal speaker or the recommended 5150 Iconic 4X12
speaker enclosure only, set switch to "16Ω."

U. SPEAKER OUTPUTS: For connection to speaker cabinet(s).
Either jack can be used when using only one speaker cabi-
net. Five different speaker configurations are listed below.
Use only high-quality unshielded speaker cables.
NOTE: A speaker must always be plugged into one of the
speaker jacks when the amplifier is on and SPEAKER-
EMULATED OUTPUT (R) is disengaged, or damage may
occur. Turn amplifier off or put it in STANDBY mode when
changing speaker connections or impedance settings.
