3.- OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 Assembly instructions
After unpacking the machine, carefully check for damaged
or broken parts. If you find any damaged or malfunctioning
parts, replace them with original spare parts from the
manufacturer and contact RUBI's after-sales service.
Mounting the mixing head.
1.
The mixer head comes disassembled from the mixer.
2.
Screw the upper part of the mixer head to the output
shaft (M14) of the RUBIMIX POWER MAX. (fig.1)
3.
Tighten the fixed 22 mm wrench. hard to screw the
mixing head , turning to the left and use the auxiliary
key of 19 mm. in the output shaft to fix the mixing head
, rotating clockwise. (fig.2)
Preflight
4.
Ensure that the voltage of the power supply match the
voltage and frequency indicated on the nameplate of
the machine. (fig.3)
5.
Machines can also be connected to 230V 210V / 240V.
Machines can be connected to 110V 100V / 120. (fig.4)
6.
6Only use mixer heads indicated in this manual with a
maximum diameter of 160 mm.
3.2 Staring the machine
Connection
7.
Before operating the machine enter the head in the
product mix. (fig.5)
8.
To start the machine first press the release button on
the switch and then press the power switch. (fig.6)
Always work with the on/off switch fully applied.
9.
Regulation- Turn the switch located on the left side of
the machine to get the desired speed .
The speed depends on the material to be mixed and can
be determined by testing. (fig.7)
10. Depending on the consistency of the material and
mixing amount should determine the various mixing
heads to be used.
If the product is a low viscosity mix use a mixing head
with a left hand helix. If instead product is a high
viscosity mix, use a mixing head propeller, clockwise.
11. Work at low speed at the beginning of mixing and
increase speed rotation as the mixture is gaining
consistency. (fig.8)
12. Always hold the machine with both hands, up and down
the mixer to remove.
10
Work position
Move the machine across the container during the
mixing process to ensure an even finish.
Attention! If while running the mixer it butts the
container surface, this could produce a strong kick.
Work the material until it has reached the proper
degree of mixture following the recommendations
given by the manufacturer of the materials.
The more viscous the material to be mixed, the greater
the strength of torque acting on the machine.
13. Career so that revolutions can not drop abruptly and
reach stop the machine.
Disconnection
14. Release the on / off switch to turn off the machine. The
sound will continue for a while after being turned off, so
wait until the machine has completely stopped before
removing the mixing head of the container.
Remember to turn off the engine when moving
between different work areas. (fig.9)
Changing the mixing head.
15. To change the mixing head, use the fixed 22 mm
wrench. and screw tightly, turning clockwise. (fig.10)
16. If the mixing head is stuck , use a 19mm wrench to
assist, placing it in the mixer shaft.
FAST-IN Connection
17. The FAST-IN adapter is factory fitted. To remove it or fit
it, use a 19 mm and 22 mm spanner (included).
18. To fit the FAST-IN special mixer paddle, insert it by
aligning the pin with the FAST-IN adapter slot and push
it until it is locked. Ensure that it is fully secured. (fig.
11)
19. To remove the paddle, push the FAST-IN adapter plastic
grip upwards and pull the paddle. (fig. 12)
M14 Connection (Accessory)
20. To connect an M14 paddle to the mixer, the FAST-IN
coupler must be removed first. (fig. 13)
21. Use a 19 mm and 22 mm spanner (included) to remove
it.
3.3 Cleaning and maintenace
WARNING! Unplug the plug before performing any
adjustments, repairs or maintenance. Cleaning and correct
maintenance of the machine extends the useful life of its
tools.
Immediately clean the machine and the mixer paddle after
each use.
1.
To clean the mixing head, we recommend you immerse
it in a bucket of clean water and operate the machine.
(fig.14)
2.
Maintain, clean and open the vents to ensure adequate
cooling . Closed ventilation grooves cause destruction
of the machine. (fig.15)
3.
Pay attention to the smooth operation of the ON / OFF
switch and your release. (fig.16)
4.
The machine is equipped with brushes which should be
changed after 60 hours of operation or when displaying
obvious signs of wear.
- To change the brushes, turn the machine off and wait
until it is completely stopped.
- Remove the brush holder cover, remove the board
