Read through the entire instruction before work is begun.
Check that all parts are included in the package. Items in
illustrations in this instruction may differ from the model you
are working on. The illustrations are used for different
instructions and may therefore vary between different variants.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure suitable locations and distances between the compo-
nents before installation. The following assembly instructions
should be read carefully:
Transom unit (ATU) for ACP-system/ACP-system IPS
Zinc anode for ACP-system/ACP-system IPS
The anode may not be placed between drive unit and ACP.
NOTICE!
This instruction shows how the ACP system control unit CPM
(Corrosion Protection Module) is installed and connected in
the boat. The instruction also shows articles included in other
ACP kits or articles that are purchased separately.
IMPORTANT:
The CPM is available in different variants. Secure correct
variant by checking the label before any installation:
For IPS-system: Secure the label states "IPS DRIVES ONLY".
For Aqua-system : Secure the label states "STERNDRIVES
(Z) ONLY". Refer to Fig 1

IMPORTANT:
Make sure to always use a 10A fuse if the dual CPM is
installed.
* Used to secure the CPM unit.
Installation equipment/Special tools
- VODIA diagnostics tool (EVC-E only)
IMPORTANT:
Make sure the main switch and the fuse is off before
starting work.
Location
The CPM unit must be installed in the engine compartment, on
the inboard side of the transom and above the water line. Check
that the wiring length is necessary long to connect the anode and

ATU to the planned installation.
IMPORTANT:
Do not splice the wiring. Risk of product damage and
lost function.
Installation
IMPORTANT:
-Valid only for first time installations:
Install the stern unit. Refer to installation instruction
47713115.
Install the sacrificial anode. Refer to installation instruction
47713116.
1. Install the CPM. Use the CPM unit as a template and mark
out the three holes. Refer to Fig. 2A or Fig 3A for dual CPM.
2. Drill.
3. Install the CPM unit. Fasten it with suitable screws
and washers (not included).
IMPORTANT:
Make sure the wiring is secured such that it is not
exposed to water, hot surfaces or chafing.
IMPORTANT:
All contact surfaces shall be clean and free of paint.
4. CPM: Connect the Y-split cable (4) to the connection on the
CPM unit marked: AUXBUS". Connect the harness 12-pole
(6)connector to the CPM unit connection marked TRANSOM
UNIT. Refer to Fig. 4A for EVC2 or Fig 4B for EVC-E.
For dual CPM:Connect the Y-split cable (4) to the
connection on the CPM unit marked: AUXBUS". Connect the
harness 12-pole (6) connector to the CPM unit connection
marked TRANSOM UNIT 1. Connect a secondary harness
12-pole (6) connector to the CPM unit connection marked
TRANSOM UNIT 2. Refer to Fig. 4A for EVC2 or Fig 4B for
EVC-E.
5. Connect the power supply cable, length 7 m (23 ft). Extend
or shorten the power supply cable as necessary; it must be
connected to the auxiliary battery (AUX).
6. Install the circuit breaker kit (5), with the red cable as close
to the battery positive terminal as possible. To secure the
function availability, the fuse must be connected directly
on the battery before the breaker. Refer to Fig.2C/3C.
NOTICE!
The CPM unit may not be connected to
NOTICE!
No switch should be able to cut the power. The power supply
should be located directly on the battery. Refer to the wiring
diagram, Fig. 2B/3B. The possibility to cut the power for ex-
ample during winter storage can be performed via the fuse.
7. Connect the black cable to the battery negative terminal.
Refer to Fig 2B/3B.
8. Autoconfigure the system and delete any fault codes using
VODIA diagnostics tool (EVC-E only).
9. Secure everything is connected correctly before installing
the fuse,
any of the start
batteries.
