5. Working with the CSC-Tool SE
The following steps are necessary to work with the CSC-Tool SE:
1. Attach the wheel clamp modules SE / WA to the front wheels.
2. Place the CSC-Tool SE at the right distance in front of the vehicle.
3. Attach the wheel clamp modules SE / WA to the rear wheels.
4. Place the CSC-Tool SE centered and parallel in front of the vehicle.
5. Level the CSC-Tool SE.
6. Adjust the height of the CSC reference panel.
The individual steps are described below.
5.1. Precondition for the Use of the CSC-Tool SE
Ensure the following to be able to use the CSC-Tool SE:
• The vehicle system to be adjusted is working properly.
• There are no trouble codes stored in the ECU.
• Vehicle-specific preparations have been done.
• Rear axle track is correctly adjusted.
• The horizontal alignment of the vehicle on even floor is ensured.
• Two wheel clamps SE / wheel clamp modules WA are present (not included in the delivery contents).
• The CSC-Tool SE is placed correctly in front of the vehicle.
• The dimensions indicated in the diagnostic device regarding the correct positioning have been obeyed.
5.2. Attaching the Wheel Clamp Modules SE / WA to the Front
Wheels
Proceed as follows to attach the wheel clamp modules SE / WA to the front wheel:
1. Attach one wheel clamp module SE / WA on the left and right front wheel respectively.
