SPECIAL MAINTENANCE – REASSEMBLY OF BOTH THE HYDRAULIC AND PUMPING PART
To reassemble the parts, follow the instructions in the previous chapter but in the reverse order.
Valves and sealing units must follow the same order used during disassembly.
Refit the head and lower valve cap
and tighten the screws using a
torque wrench only.
The screws are tightened in three
steps, following the sequence
illustrated in figure 17:
1. Pre-tighten screws A, B (M12)
and C (M14) to a torque of 40
Nm/29.5 ft-lbs.
2. Tighten screws A, B (M12)
and C (M14) to a torque of 85
Nm/62.7 ft-lbs following the
order shown below:

3. Tighten the screws C (M14)
again to a torque of 110
Nm/62.7 ft-lbs following the
order shown below:

Refit the upper valve cap and
tighten the 8 M14 screws using
a torque wrench only to a
torque of 110 Nm (81.1 ft-lbs),
following the order shown below:
