Adjusting the cable stop buffer
CAUTION!
Here, the max. permitted cable travel length
must not be exceeded:
7200
7211 / 7212
7211... / 7212... - 005 / -105 / -115 / -135
7221 / 7222
1. Affix a corresponding load and draw out the cable to the required position.
2. Slacken the screws at the cable clamp (9, set the required cable travel length and then re tighten
the screws.
3. The rubber buffer (13) can be manually shifted on the cable between cable clamp (9) and housing.
Adjusting the bearing load
• Before setting the bearing load, affix the load with the cable fully retracted.
CAUTION!
• Adjusting towards "Plus" (+) increases the bearing load.
• Adjusting towards "Minus" (-) reduces the bearing load.
• The setting is correct when the affixed load is easily drawn into the required position
and after being released returns to its initial position.
• The spring balancers leave the factory with the "Maximum load" setting. The following
adjustments are to be adjusted from the "Maximum load" again and again.
Please refer on this to the specific-type particulars on the next page.
Not heeding this instruction can result in the springs in the housing being ruined!
• 7200, 7211 and 7212:
Pressing in the spring lock (11) causes the pre-tension to act on the adjusting tool. Keep
the adjusting tool firmly held!
• Adjusting operation 7200 to 7212:
– Tensioning:
Insert the hexagonal key into the spring lock (11)
and turn clockwise
– Stress-relieving:
Insert the hexagonal key into the spring lock (11),
press inwards and turn anti-clockwise.
Caution !!!
The spring lock (11) must have the possibility on the
opposite side to move out of the housing.
