Operating Instructions – Spring Balancers
• Adjusting operation 7221 to 7222:
Insert the hexagonal key into the adjusting screw (14).
Use an hexagonal key to undertake the required
adjustment within the permitted adjustment range. The
adjusting screw (14) acts upon the spring lock (11) which
has a marking on the outside. The adjustment can be
seen at this marking.
• Column "X" = maximum permitted rotations towards
"Plus" with the spring fully stress-relieved. The spring is
fully stress-relieved when the rubber buffer (13) on being
stress-relieved detaches itself from the housing.

Design with automatic arresting mechanism (7212 and 7222)
CAUTION!
The automatic arresting mechanism must not be used for load changing purposes.
The load must only be changed with the cable fully retracted.
The affixed tool is pulled downwards and remains in the extracted position. To return to the initial position, the attached
tool is manually pulled down a little and then quickly guided upwards. A return effected slowly leads to the arresting
mechanism locking.
