4.5 INSTALLATION STEPS
The Cassia X1000 gateway installation steps must be followed in the order indicated in the manual.
To help the user in this process, a list of installation tasks can be found at the end of the manual where you can
keep a record of what has already been done and what still needs to be done.
4.5.1 Remove the Bottom Cover
The bottom cover is attached to the Cassia X1000 gateway frame by 3 tabs spaced 120 degrees apart. To remove
the cover, turn it counterclockwise.
After rotation, the cover should come off easily.

4.5.2 Connect the Ethernet Cable
Connect the side of the ethernet cable that has the RJ45 connector at a 90 degree angle to the Cassia X1000
gateway.
