NOTICE
Always wait 3 minutes when turning the unit off and then on again, or when changing from cool to
fan and back to cool. This prevents damage from occurring to the compressor.
To begin operating the air conditioner, follow these steps:
1.
Set the temperature to the coldest setting.
2.
Set the control to HIGH COOL.
3.
Adjust the louver for comfortable air fl ow (see Air Directional Louvers).
4.
Once the room feels cool, adjust to the temperature you fi nd most comfortable.
5.
Make sure that the air fl ow inside and outside are not obstructed.

The Fresh Air Vent allows the air conditioner to:
1.
Recirculate inside air – Vent Closed (See Fig. A)
2.
Draw fresh air into the room - Vent Open (See Fig. B)
3.
Exchange air from the room and draw fresh air into the room - Vent and Exhaust Open (See Fig. C).

The louvers will allow you to direct the air fl ow Left
or Right, or Up and Down (optional on some models)
throughout the room as needed.
Move the Levers from side to side until the desired
LEFT/RIGHT direction is obtained.
You can also move the LEFT lever to adjust air fl ow
UP/DOWN as needed.
