− Vegetables like carrots are best when soaked in ice water or water in the
refrigerator.

The top part of the base unit will become hot during operation.
You could burn yourself on it.
− Let the dehydrator cool off completely before each
cleaning.
NOTICE!
Risk of short circuit!
Water or other liquids that have penetrated the housing may
cause a short circuit.
− Never submerge the base unit in water or other liquids.
− Make sure that no water or other liquids penetrate the
housing.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the dehydrator may result in damage to
the dehydrator.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles, or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such
as knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage
the surfaces.
− Never place the dehydrator or its components in a
dishwasher. Otherwise it will be destroyed.
