4. Using your Blood Pressure Monitor for the First Time
4.1. Installing the batteries
After unpacking the device, insert the batteries. The battery compartment
is located on the left side of the device.
a) Slide the battery cover open.
b) Insert 2 new batteries (size AAA 1.5V) following the indicated polarity.
c) If the battery warning appears in the display the batteries are discharged
and must be replaced.
Attention!
• After the low battery indication warning appears, the device will not
function until the batteries have been replaced.
• Please use "AAA" Long Life or Alkaline 1.5V batteries. When replacing
batteries, replace all at the same time, and ensure they are correctly
connected, as shown on the symbols in the compartment.
• We do not recommend using rechargeable batteries with this device.
• If the blood pressure monitor is left unused for long periods, remove
the batteries from the device.
