Installa琀椀on

The wall moun琀椀ng plate and the junc琀椀on box are required to install the indoor sta琀椀on onto
the wall.
The dimension of junc琀椀on box should be 75 mm (width) × 75 mm (length) × 50 mm (depth).
The dimension of wall moun琀椀ng plate is shown.
Before you begin:
1. Make sure the device in the package is in good condi琀椀on and all the assembly parts
are included.
2. The power supply the indoor sta琀椀on supports is 12 VDC. Please make sure your
power supply matches your indoor sta琀椀on.
3. Make sure all the related equipment is power-off during the installa琀椀on.
4. Check the product specifica琀椀on for the installa琀椀on environment.
5. Here takes wall mounitng with junc琀椀on box for example.
Wall Moun琀椀ng with Junc琀椀on Box
1. Chisel a hole in the wall. The size of the hole should be 76 mm (width) × 76 mm
(length) × 50 mm (depth).
2. Insert the junc琀椀on box to the hole chiseled on the wall.
3. Fix the wall moun琀椀ng plate to the junc琀椀on box with 2 screws.
4. Hook the indoor sta琀椀on to the wall moun琀椀ng plate 琀椀ghtly by inser琀椀ng the plate hooks
into the slots on the rear panel of the indoor sta琀椀on, during which the lock catch will be
locked automa琀椀cally.
Wall Moun琀椀ng without Junc琀椀on Box
1. Insert 2 expension tubes into the wall.
2. Fix the wall moun琀椀ng plate to the wall with 2 screws.
3. Hook the indoor sta琀椀on to the wall moun琀椀ng plate 琀椀ghtly by inser琀椀ng the plate
hooks into the slots on the rear panel of the indoor sta琀椀on, during which the lock
catch will be locked automa琀椀cally.

Ac琀椀vate Indoor Sta琀椀on
1
You are required to ac琀椀vate the device first by se琀�ng a strong password for it before
you can use the device.
1. Power on the device. It will enter the ac琀椀va琀椀on page automa琀椀cally.
2. Create a password and confirm it.
3. Tap OK to ac琀椀vate the indoor sta琀椀on.
Note: We highly recommend you to create a strong password of your own choosing
(using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least three kinds of following categories:
upper case le琀琀ers, lower case le琀琀ers, numbers, and special characters) in order to
increase the security of your product. And we recommend you reset your password
regularly, especially in the high security system, rese琀�ng the password monthly or
weekly can be琀琀er protect your product.
Quick Configura琀椀on

1. Choose Language and tap Next.
2. Set network parameters and tap Next.
- Edit Local IP, Subnet Mask and Gateway parameters.
- Enable DHCP, the device will get network parameters automa琀椀cally.
3. Configure the indoor sta琀椀on and tap Next.
a. Select Indoor Sta琀椀on Type.
b. Edit Floor and Room No.
4. Linked related devices and tap Next. If the device and the indoor sta琀椀on are in the
same LAN, the device will be displayed in the list. Tap the device or enter the serial No.
to link.
a. Tap the door sta琀椀on in the list to link.
b. Tap the se琀�ngs icon to pop up the Network Se琀�ngs page.
c. Edit the network parameters of the door sta琀椀on manually or enable DHCP to get
the network parameters automa琀椀cally.
d. Op琀椀onal: Enable Synchronize Language to synchronize the Language of door
sta琀椀on with indoor sta琀椀on.
e. Tap OK to save the se琀�ngs.
5. Tap Finish to save the se琀�ngs.
The power supply must conform to LPS. The recommended adaptor models and
manufacturers are shown as below. Use the a琀琀ached adaptor ,and do not change the
adaptor randomly.

Safety Instruction
Warnings
● All the electronic opera琀椀on should be strictly compliance with the electrical safety regula琀椀ons, fire preven琀椀on regula琀椀ons
and other related regula琀椀ons in your local region.
● Please use the power adapter, which is provided by normal company. The power consump琀椀on cannot be less than the
required value.
● Do not connect several devices to one power adapter as adapter overload may cause over-heat or fire hazard.
● Please make sure that the power has been disconnected before you wire, install or dismantle the device.
● When the product is installed on wall or ceiling, the device shall be firmly fixed.
● If smoke, odors or noise rise from the device, turn off the power at once and unplug the power cable, and then please
contact the service center.
● If the product does not work properly, please contact your dealer or the nearest service center. Never a琀琀empt to

disassemble the device yourself. (We shall not assume any responsibility for problems caused by unauthorized repair or
maintenance.)

Cau琀椀ons
● Do not drop the device or subject it to physical shock, and do not expose it to high electromagne琀椀sm radia琀椀on. Avoid the
equipment installa琀椀on on vibra琀椀ons surface or places subject to shock (ignorance can cause equipment damage).
● Do not place the device in extremely hot (refer to the specifica琀椀on of the device for the detailed opera琀椀ng temperature),
cold, dusty or damp loca琀椀ons, and do not expose it to high electromagne琀椀c radia琀椀on.
● The device cover for indoor use shall be kept from rain and moisture.
● Exposing the equipment to direct sun light, low ven琀椀la琀椀on or heat source such as heater or radiator is forbidden
(ignorance can cause fire danger).
● Do not aim the device at the sun or extra bright places. A blooming or smear may occur otherwise (which is not a
malfunc琀椀on however), and affec琀椀ng the endurance of sensor at the same 琀椀me.
● Please use the provided glove when open up the device cover, avoid direct contact with the device cover, because the
acidic sweat of the fingers may erode the surface coa琀椀ng of the device cover.
● Please use a so昀琀 and dry cloth when clean inside and outside surfaces of the device cover, do not use alkaline
detergents.
● Please keep all wrappers a昀琀er unpack them for future use. In case of any failure occurred, you need to return the device
to the factory with the original wrapper. Transporta琀椀on without the original wrapper may result in damage on the device
and lead to addi琀椀onal costs.
● Improper use or replacement of the ba琀琀ery may result in hazard of explosion. Replace with the same or equivalent type
only. Dispose of used ba琀琀eries according to the instruc琀椀ons provided by the ba琀琀ery manufacturer.

Aver琀椀ssements :

● U琀椀lisez un adaptateur fourni par une entreprise agréée. La consomma琀椀on électrique ne doit pas être inférieure à la
valeur exigée.
● Ne branchez pas plusieurs appareils sur un même adaptateur ; toute surcharge de l'adaptateur pouvant entraîner
sa surchauffe ou provoquer un incendie.
● Veillez à bien déconnecter la source d'alimenta琀椀on avant de câbler, installer ou démonter l'appareil.

Précau琀椀ons
● Évitez de faire tomber l'appareil, de le heurter et de l'exposer à des rayonnements électromagné琀椀ques de forte
intensité. Évitez d'installer l'équipement sur des surfaces vibrantes ou à des emplacements subissant des chocs
fréquents (au risque de l'endommager).
● N'installez pas l'appareil à un emplacement trop chaud ou trop froid (reportez-vous à la spécifica琀椀on de l'appareil
pour connaître la température de fonc琀椀onnement précise), poussiéreux ou humide. Ne l'exposez pas non plus à des
rayonnements électromagné琀椀ques élevés.
● Le capot de l'appareil pour installa琀椀on intérieure ne doit pas être exposé à la pluie, ni à l'humidité.
● Il est formellement interdit d'exposer l'équipement directement au soleil, à un environnement mal ven琀椀lé ou à une
source de chaleur telle qu'une chaudière ou un radiateur (au risque de provoquer un incendie).
● N'orientez pas l'appareil vers le soleil ou des sources de lumière très vive. Dans le cas contraire, un voile ou des
traînées risquent de se former (ce qui ne cons琀椀tue toutefois pas un dysfonc琀椀onnement) et la résistance du capteur peut
également être affectée.
● U琀椀lisez le gant fourni pour ouvrir le capot du dôme et évitez tout contact direct avec celui-ci, l'acidité de la suda琀椀on
des doigts pouvant éroder le revêtement du capot de l'appareil.
● U琀椀lisez un chiffon doux et sec pour ne琀琀oyer les surfaces intérieures et extérieures du capot de l'appareil. N'u琀椀lisez
pas de détergents alcalins.
● Conservez tous les emballages ; ils pourront vous resservir ultérieurement. En cas de panne, renvoyez l'appareil à
l'usine dans son emballage d'origine. Si l'appareil est transporté hors de son emballage d'origine, il risque d'être abîmé,
entraînant des frais supplémentaires.
● Une mauvaise u琀椀lisa琀椀on de la ba琀琀erie ou un remplacement erroné peut entraîner un risque d'explosion. Ne la
remplacez que par une ba琀琀erie iden琀椀que ou de type équivalent. Me琀琀ez les ba琀琀eries usagées au rebut conformément

Data Protec琀椀on
During the use of device, personal data will be collected, stored and processed. To protect data, the
development of Hikvision devices incorporates privacy by design principles. For example, for device with facial
recogni琀椀on features, biometrics data is stored in your device with encryp琀椀on method; for fingerprint device,
only fingerprint template will be saved, which is impossible to reconstruct a fingerprint image.
As data controller, you are advised to collect, store, process and transfer data in accordance with the applicable
data protec琀椀on laws and regula琀椀ons, including without limita琀椀on, conduc琀椀ng security controls to safeguard
personal data, such as, implemen琀椀ng reasonable administra琀椀ve and physical security controls, conduct periodic
reviews and assessments of the effec琀椀veness of your security controls.
