Pruning shears operation tips
The maximum cutting diameter is given for softwood cutting (e.g. conifers, poplar, linden) in the case of hardwood cutting (e.g.
ash, walnut tree, oak) the maximum cutting diameter may be reduced.
The pruning shears are used to completely cut the branches. Do not use it for any other purpose, for example, cutting boards or
carving.
Do not cut materials other than wood. Other materials can lead to faster wear of the blades or even their damage.
Before cutting branches, make sure that there are no foreign objects, such as nails or staples, which may damage the tool.
Make sure that there are no electrical wires, water, gas and other hoses before starting work, the cutting of which will lead to their
destruction, and may pose a threat to the operator or bystanders, e.g. electric shock, gas or water leakage.
Before each press of the power switch starting the cutting, make sure that the fingers of the other hand or other parts of the body
do not come into contact with the blade. The pruning shears' blades may cause serious injury.
In the case of cutting tree branches, pay attention to the falling branches, which may pose a threat to the operator and bystanders.
Before starting work, designate a secure a zone in which bystanders may not stay. Persons working in such a zone should wear
personal protective equipment at least the same as the operator.
