couple or several work cycles. Under no circumstances it is allowed to discharge of battery by shorting the electrodes as this causes
irreversible damages! It is also not allowed to check the battery charge by shorting electrodes and checking the sparking.
Battery storage
To prolong the lifetime of the battery it is necessary to ensure proper storage conditions. Battery can withstand approx. 500
o
"charging - discharging" cycles. Battery must be stored at the temperature range of 0 to 30
C with 50% relative humidity. To store
the battery longer, it must be charged to approx. 70% of its capacity. In case of a longer storage time, it is required to charge the
battery periodically. It is not recommended to allow the excessive discharge of the battery as this shortens its service life and may
cause irreversible damages.
During its storage, the battery shall gradually discharge due to its leakage. The process of intrinsic discharge depends on storage
temperature, the higher temperature, the faster discharge process. In case of improper storage of battery, it may result in leakage
of electrolyte. In the event of leakage, it must be protected by means of neutralizing agent, in case of a contact of electrolyte with
eyes, they should be rinsed with plenty of water and then it is required to seek immediate medical advice. It is forbidden to use
the tool with damaged battery.
In case of a complete wear of battery, it should be delivered to a specialist service point dealing in management of this type of
waste.
Transport of batteries
Pursuant to legal regulations, lit-ion batteries are treated as dangerous goods. The tool user may transport the tool with battery
and only batteries by land. No additional conditions must be met. If the transport is commissioned to a third party (for example
shipment by courier service), it is necessary to comply with regulations regarding the transport of dangerous goods. Before the
shipment, please contact in this matter any person with relevant qualifications.
It is forbidden to transport any damaged batteries. For the duration of transport the dismantled batteries must be removed from the
tool, uncovered contacts should be protected, e.g. by covering with insulation tape. Batteries should be protected in the packaging
in such a way as to prevent them from displacing inside the packaging during transport. Also local regulations regarding transport
of dangerous goods should be complied with.
Charging the battery
Warning! Prior to charge the charger should be unplugged from the mains.
Product has the embedded charge indicator. By pressing the button diodes will light up (II), the more it lights, the more charged is
the battery. If diodes fail to light up when being pressed, this indicates the battery is discharged.
Plug the charger to product's socket.
Plug the charger to mains.
Red diode will light up which indicates the charge process has started.
After the charge is finished the diode goes off, which indicates the battery is fully charged.
Unplug the battery from mains.
Unplug the charger from product's socket.
Warning! In the course of charge it is not possible to use the product.
Warning! If the red diode does not light up after connecting to charger, this indicates that the battery is fully charged.
Fixing screwdriver bits in the chuck (II)
Place the selected screwdriver bit in the screwdriver's socket. Bits should be selected in such a way, so they fit to the socket of screw
as much as possible. This will prevent damaging the head of the screw which may prevent screwing or unscrewing of the screw.
Setting direction of rotation (III)
Set the rotation direction switch at desired position. Rotation direction is marked with arrow (IV).
Warning! Reversing the rotation can only be done when the rotation is stopped! It is not allowed to change the direction of rotation
when the product is operating!
Change of screwdriver position (V)
Screwdriver has the possibility of rotating the grip handle which allows changing its shape from revolver shape to straight shape
and vice versa. This allows choosing the screwdriver shape to match the workplace. Press and hold the handle rotation button
and then change the position of grip handle. Make sure that the grip handle was locked in new position and will not change its
position by itself during the work.
PRODUCT USE
Before the work, while in idle running check the start and smoothness of operation of tool. Observed irregularities indicate the
necessity of technical inspection or repair in the authorised service centre.
