TOWING COUPLING - electric installation set
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. Škoda Auto recommends the fitting to
be carried out by its contract partners.

The 5J1 055 316F electric installation set is designed for vehicles Škoda Roomster (5J7)
or Škoda Praktik (5J8) manufactured from CW 13/2010. The set can be used in ve-
hicles with both left and right steering, without the preparation for towing coupling in
combination with additionally mounted towing coupling from the Škoda accessories
portfolio.

Attention.
When mounting the towing coupling electric installation set, the front seat has to be
dismantled and refitted. The fastening screws for the seat are only intended for a single
use. Order spare screws from the genuine Škoda parts portfolio (the ETKA catalogue)
under Part No. N908 921 01 (or later).
In addition, for vehicles Škoda Praktik (5J8) order a protective bellows (M
N107 326 01 and a fastener (N) 1pc Part No. 3D0 971 838E (Fig. 1b).
If the towing coupling control unit holder is not included in the car equipment (under-
neath the front right seat), order it under the following Part No.:
- control unit holder
- nut 4 pcs
