Vehicles manufactured since CW 22 /2011 without the Start-Stop function.
- Instrument panel
- Take the grey/white wire PIN 13 out of the instrument panel terminal board and insulate it.
- Slide the grey wire of the towing coupling electric installation harness onto the loose PIN 13.
- Fix the grey wire of the towing coupling electric installation harness together with the in-
sulated wire to the instrument panel terminal board wires with a suitable adhesive tape
(Fig. 14).
- Fuse panel
- Connect the black/red wire - to the grey/white wire in the fuse box on position 37B. Use
single-pole terminal board (C2).
- Connect the red/green wire - to the red wire in the fuse box on position 19A. Use the
double-pole terminal board (C1) - PIN 2.

- Fuse panel
- Connect the red/green wire - to the red wire in the fuse box on position 19A. Use the
double-pole terminal board (C1) - PIN 2.
- Insulate the grey wire, black/red wire and wire with the terminal board (C2) of the
towing coupling electric installation harness and, with a suitable adhesive tape, fasten it to
the towing coupling electric installation harness wires. Single-pole terminal board (C2) will
remain.

- Fasten the towing coupling electric installation harness behind the steering wheel rod above
the pedal system using tightening tapes (J) as shown on the picture. Fix the harness to avoid
its collision with the pedal system, or with the steering mechanism.
Fix all the remaining wires of the towing coupling electric installation to avoid their
damage and occurrence of any disturbing noises during the drive.
Refit all the dismantled parts (in the following order: light switch, instrument panel,
fuse box, BCM board network control unit, fuse panel and others). Tighten relevant
joins at prescribed torques. Advice. Always use new safety screws to fasten the front
seat travels!
Connect the car battery and perform all operations related with the disconnection and
re-connection of the car battery.
Recode the Gateway central steering unit of the car for operation with the towing
bracket. Check and, if necessary, recode the towing coupling control unit, according to
the type of the car.
Attention. If the car is equipped with "Parking assistance" from the series manufacture,
recode the control unit using the "Parking assistance" diagnostic instrument for opera-
tion with towing coupling.
