9.1.3) Calibration of the tightening torque
A calibration and inspection certificate is supplied with the tool and is valid for a year.
To ensure the accuracy of the torque values recorded, the tool requires a complete inspection to be carried
out at least once a year.
The tool is provided with two labels that act as seals on the start buttons. They must only be
removed when the operator, having switched on the tool, presses one of the two buttons
with the resulting rotation of the driveshaft; the "first start-up" will begin a countdown of the
days remaining until the next calibration.
One year after the "first start-up", the tool will need to be calibrated by CEMBRE to check the correct
regulation of the tightening torque and to issue a new calibration certificate valid for another year.
A reminder will appear on the display to advise the operator that the required maintenance is approaching:

Contact an authorized CEMBRE service
center to carry out ordinary maintenance.
One year has passed since the "first start-up". The tool will con-
tinue to operate but the calibration of the tightening torque is not
guaranteed. It is essential that the tool is sent to a CEMBRE as-
sistance centre for calibration and servicing of all functions.
The calibration certificate issued previously is no longer
valid. It is not possible to certify future work (JOBs) and
work in progress will be closed.
The maintenance operations must be carried out by qualified personnel.
It will appear 30 days before expiry and it will reappear
each time the tool is used. We advise that you contact a
CEMBRE assistance centre to schedule the calibration.
