4. Attach the spray deflector to the spray bar supports using supplied ¼"x1 inch bolts, fender washers, and
hex nuts. Beginning with the pump end of the system secure the spray deflector. A spray deflector splice
should be used everywhere a joint is formed. It may be necessary to cut the spray deflector to fit
nonstandard rough opening lengths. If necessary drill a second mounting hole to ensure a minimum of 2
fasteners on a modified part.
Trough Bracket Installation
5. Following figure 2, install trough brackets with the top interior of the trough brackets along the chalk line
from step 1 in the above section. A minimum on center spacing of 60" is critical. Where possible the
brackets should be mounted on center to align with existing framing (4X4 posts). Use supplied 5/16 X 3.5
Inch Galvanized Lag Screws to mount brackets. Brackets should also be installed roughly 1 foot from
each end of the trough.
