5. DAILY USE
a) Quick check before use
Please check the following points before each use of the airbag vest to be properly
protected:
 The airbag vest is in good condition with no tears or wear.
 The e-cartridge is new and connected (see page 28).
 The airbag vest is properly fitted and closed (see page 29).
 The airbag vest battery is sufficiently charged (see page 31).
 The airbag vest is switched on (see page 30).
The detection mode corresponds to your application: road mode

mode (see page 27).
b) Wearing the airbag system
CAUTION
The airbag vest must be worn over your motorcycle equipment (leather suit,
humpback jacket). It is possible to wear the airbag vest over a motorcycle jacket
without a hump, but a back protector certified with the standard EN 1621-2 must
be integrated into this jacket.

Put on the e-GP Air vest.
2 Position the foam chest protector on the black vertical velcro on the left side of
the e-GP Air vest. Caution, the red vertical velcro must not be visible, it indicates the
limit not to be exceeded.
3 Then position the two white straps correctly on the velcro foam chest protector.
You must adjust your e-GP Air vest to your morphology and the motorbike
equipment over which it will be worn. If you do not adjust and close the airbag
correctly, your protection is not guaranteed.
GOOD TO KNOW
• The airbag vest is water repellent, so you can use it in rain or snow. Be sure to dry
the airbag system properly after use (see page 37).
• It is possible to wear a backpack over the airbag vest provided that the shoulder
straps are loosened sufficiently to leave the necessary space for the airbag in case
of inflation.
• The airbag vest can be worn by the motorcycle driver and passenger.
