After triggering an emergency stop:
• Turn the emergency stop switch slightly so that it jumps back into its starting position.
The device is returned to standby mode. The control takes approx. 5 seconds until it is ready for
operation and the individual stations can be selected.
By pressing the foot pedal, the hydraulics can then be
re-activated.
• If the emergency stop was triggered by the foot switch:
Release the foot switch by pressing the blue silicone
cover on the side of the foot switch (see Fig. 1).
note:
the electrohydraulic pump is equipped with an
emergency stop circuit. this is activated via the
the emergency stop switch of the connected device
and immediately stops the motor and deactivates
the integrated solenoid valve.
Bending BuSBARS
• Set the switch on the basic device to "Bend".
• For bending, the bending die is inserted into the hydraulic cylinder and the electrical angle reader
pushed into the round guide groove of the counter block. The connection cable must be connected to
the socket on the rear of the work block.
• The angle is fixed on the angle scale with a set screw.
• We recommend, depending on the material thickness, to set 1-3° beyond the desired bending
angle as the material springs back.
• Then the height of the working block is adjusted using the hand wheel to the average width
of the busbar.
• Now close the safety hood; the bending process is then triggered by pressing the foot switch.
• The angle reader is equipped with a limit switch.
• When the set angle is reached, the device switches off.
note:
• Always bend the busbars in the middle!
• never reach into the tool area!
• toggle switch in "Bending" position!
• close the hood. Lifting up the hood interrupts the bending process and the tool runs backward!
warning!
!
when bending busbars, a risk exists of body parts being sheared off or jammed due to the
pivoting components.
• Make sure that no people or objects are in the work area.
• in a dangerous situation, press one of the red emergency stop buttons on the device or,
alternatively, press the foot switch beyond the first pressure point to stop the work process!
note:
when busbars are bent, there is a plastic (permanent) and an elastic (spring-back) deformation
of the workpiece. in order to compensate for the elastic part of the bending and the spring back
of the material, the bending angle should always be set 1 - 3° above the desired angle.
