10 . To open the lid: Protect your wrist
from steam with a dry oven mitt .
Stand to the right of the pressure
cooker and grasp the handle with
your right hand .
11 . Turn the lid counter-clockwise until
the marking on the lid aligns with
the OPEN marking on the
pressure cooker .
12 . Lift slightly then carefully tilt up the
far edge of the lid up so that the
steam escapes from the pot away
from you .

Note: Steam will escape when opening
the lid, even after release . Use caution
when opening .
13 . Always allow the pressure cooker to
fully cool before cleaning and storage .
