Pull off the pressure release valve .

Remove gasket .

Pull off the anti-block cap . It is held with
tension clips (not threaded) . Keep your
fingers clear of the clips . The cap will
be difficult to remove the first time .

Remove the float valve seal (1) while
supporting the float valve from the
other side of the lid . Then remove the
float valve (2) .

9 .
Wash lid parts in warm water with dish
soap and dry completely .
10 . Wash and dry lid .
11 . Reassemble lid parts . Fit the rubber
gasket around the metal ring inside
of the lid .
STORING
Make sure that the appliance is thoroughly
dry . Never wrap the cord tightly around the
appliance; keep it loosely coiled .
