* S6 40%, continuous operation periodic duty. Identical
duty cycles with a period at load followed by a period
at no load. Running time 10 minutes; duty cycle is 40%
of the running time.
Pressure:
The performance level of the built-in hydraulic pump
can reach a short-term pressure level for a splitting
force of up to 10 tons. In the basic setting, hydraulic
splitters are set at the factory to an approx. 10% low-
er output level. For safety reasons, the basic settings
must not be changed by the user. Please note that
external circumstances such as operating and ambi-
ent temperature, air pressure and moisture affect the
viscosity of the hydraulic oil. In addition, manufactur-
ing tolerances and maintenance errors can affect the
reachable pressure level.

9.
Attachment / Before starting
the equipment
9.1 Attaching the wheel axle and the wheels
(enclosed accessories bag a1) (fig. 3)
Slide the wheel axle through the holes on the bottom,
rear end of the splitter.
Fit the wheels onto the wheel axle and fasten each of
them with a split pin.
Then attach the wheel caps.
9.2 Putting the splitter into the work position
(Fig. 4, 5 + 6)
Connect the splitter to the mains. Observe the rotation-
al direction of the motor. Remove the pre-installed pins
from the cylinder guide. Lower the two control handles
until the cylinder latches into the guide. Now re-fit the
pins that were previously removed in order to secure
the cylinder on the firewood splitter. Secure each of the
pins with a spring split pin. After that, drive the splitting
blade to the top position and remove the support.
You must store the support safely because it is
needed every time the splitter is transported.
9.3 Attaching the supporting arm (15) (Fig. 7)
Secure the retainer arm with the screw (b1).
9.4 Attaching the hook (D) (Fig. 8)
Fasten the retainer hook to the frame with two screws
(c1).
9.5 Attaching the log lifter (Fig. 9)
Fasten the trunk lifter to the retaining lug with the screw
(d1). Attach the chain (6) to the splitting blade.
9.6 Attaching the additional wheel (Fig. 10)
Attach the transport wheel as shown in Fig. 10. Fasten
the wheel in the top hole (a) or the bottom hole (b) with
the locking pin.
