Blade assembly and replacement
Remove the battery and wear protective gloves when
assembling the blades.
The choice of blade must be appropriate for the type of
work to be performed:
▪ Always use sharp blades for best results;
▪ Blades with wide tooth spacing produce more
aggressive but less accurate cuts compared to fine-
toothed blades;
▪ Use fine-toothed blades for smooth, accurate cuts;
▪ Use small blades for round cuts;
▪ For plastic, aluminum, and steel, use fine-toothed
blades;
1. Lift the blade release button (3) and hold it up;
2.Insert the blade (1) into the fitting as shown in figure
1 and 2;
3.Release the release button;
4.Pull the blade out to check that it is properly placed;
5.To remove the blade, lift up the release button and
pull the blade;
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The reciprocating saw is appropriate for cutting wood,
metal and plastic, using appropriate blades for each
type of material.
When working with the reciprocating saw, you should
consider some procedures:
▪ Always use sharp blades in good condition. Replace
damaged or warped blades immediately;
▪ Never hold a workpiece with your hands, neither rest
it on your legs. Secure the workpiece to a stable and
immobilized workbench;
▪ Ensure that there are no obstructions on the cutting
surface or under the workpiece;
▪ When cutting wood on a longitudinal direction,
always use the guide. This improves cutting accuracy
and reduces the possibility of blade blockage;
▪ Do not attempt to cut parts that are thicker than the
blade cutting capacity and where there is not enough
space to allow the blade to perform its natural
movement;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure to the reciprocating
saw against the workpiece/object. If the speed
decreases abruptly, the pressure should be
decreased immediately;
▪ Never turn on the reciprocating saw when the blade
is in contact with the workpiece. Do not touch the
blade to the workpiece until the equipment reaches
its the maximum speed;
▪ When you restart your cutting operation on the
workpiece, center the blade on the existing cut and
ensure the blade teeth are not in contact with the
workpiece and the blade reaches maximum speed;
▪ After turning off the saw, the blade will continue to
move for a short period of time. Never remove the
saw from the workpiece until the blade is completely
stopped;
Starting and stopping the reciprocating saw
1.Place the shoe (2) over the workpiece;
2.Press the safety button (5) and the "ON/OFF" switch
(9) simultaneously;
3.If the safety button is not pressed, the "ON/OFF"
switch remains locked;
