Ducting Option

Each outlet can be ducted independently or connected to a
2 into 1 adapter. The duct length depends on the heater air
flow restriction. The lesser the restriction (less bends) the
longer the duct run. If you are experiencing frequent high limit
tripping, reducing the duct length or straightening the duct will
be require.
A. Flex Duct Kit, 18 in. x 12 ft. (45.72 cm x 3.66 m)

When using more than 1 duct, DO NOT ATTACH AN
END DIFFUSER TO THE END OF THE DUCT.
B. End Diffuser

Use only one duct,18 in. x 12 ft. / 45.72 cm x 3.66 m) per
heating outlet when using with an end diffuser.
C. Duct Adapter Kit (2 outlet to 1 outlet)

A sheet metal adapter to combine both outlets to one
24 in. (60.96 cm) round outlet.

Each heater can be operated by either an individual
thermostat or in MANUAL mode. Two thermostats will be
required when selecting FULL heating mode.
If a thermostat is not needed or required, select Manual
setting on thermostat switch.

If Thermostat is required, set the switch to THERMOSTAT,
remove the thermostat outlet cover(s), either plug the
thermostat cord or a extension cord of desired length into
the thermostat outlet, then connect the thermostat plug
to the other end of the extension cord. See Control Panel
illustration for thermostat outlets. Use ONLY L.B. White
thermostat cord with plug.
DO NOT use an in-line thermostat plug when plugging to
thermostat outlet.
* ALWAYS cover the thermostat outlet when not in use.
* DO NOT plug any appliances to the thermostat outlet.
* DO NOT plug the thermostat cord into a power
receptacle.
* Maximum extension cord length to be used with the
thermostat:
18 GA up to 100 ft. (30.48 m)
16 GA up to 150 ft. (45.72 m)
Gas Selector Valve
The heater is shipped from the factory with the fuel
selector valves in the propane gas (LP) position. Ensure
BOTH fuel selector valve's handles are properly
positioned in each heater for the fuel being used.
1. This feature allows the heater to operate on either
propane or natural gas without changing out the burner
orifice. The gas selector valve is located between the
gas control valve and the burner. Gas selection is made
by repositioning the valve's handle. THIS IS NEITHER
A MANUAL GAS SHUT OFF NOR A VARIABLE RATE
VALVE.
2. Refer to Figs. 3 and 4. The valve handle must be
properly positioned for the specific gas being used,
otherwise the unit will overheat or underheat.
