Chair & Modular Assembly Instructions
NOTICE:
Do not plug in until instructed.
All styles ship with the back unassembled.
1. Remove the unit from the package, putting the back off to the side if the back is detached, and
gently roll the unit forward so that it rests on its front or top side. On units with protective pads,
cut the plastic ties and remove them from the bottom of the unit.
2. Once the furniture is unpacked, carefully remove the legs (box or white bag) and the electrical
components box from the body bracket and set aside; the part packages have a red color streamer
(F

3. All four legs are the same. Each leg should be assembled with two screws (F
4. Some styles have wings on the back assembly. The wings will attach to the back using the
brackets attached to each piece. Wing brackets will slide down into the brackets on the outside
of the back (F
5, 6, 7).

WARNING
– To reduce the risk of injury:
• Do not operate the unit until the back is installed and locked.
• The back of the unit must be lifted for assembly. Please seek assistance if you are
unable to lift at least 45 pounds without strain.
