Oven Probe
NOTE: Only accessible t hrough t radit ional and convect ion
cooking modes.
Monit ors int ernal food t emperat ure and t urns t he oven off
when t he food reaches t he programmed t emperat ure. Insert
t he probe, press t he desired cooking mode, and program
t he probe t emperat ure. See t he Cooking Modes Sect ion for
more informat ion. The probe can only be used wit h Bake,
Convect ion Bake, and Convect ion Roast .
Auto Conv (Auto Conversion)
When using Convect ion Bake and Convect ion Roast cooking,
Auto Recipe Conversion will automat ically convert t he regular
baking temperat ures entered to convect ion bake cooking
temperat ures when t urned on. Note t hat t his opt ion does
not convert convect ion bake cooking t imes, it only convert s
temperat ures. This feat ure may be t urned On or Off. Select
Product Sett ing in t he Smart HQ app.
12- Hour shutoff
This feat ure shut s t he oven down after 12 hours of
cont inuous operat ion. It may be enabled or disabled. Select
Product Sett ing in t he Smart HQ app to t urn t his feat ure on
or off.
Tone Volume and Timer End Tone
You can adjust t he volume and type of alert your appliance
uses. Select Product Sett ing in t he Smart HQ app for making
volume adjust ment s or for changing bet ween cont inuous and
single alert tones. A cont inuous sett ing will cont inue to sound
a tone unt il a button on t he cont rol is pressed. The oven tone
volume can be adjusted. The cont rol will sound t he oven tone
at t he new volume level each t ime t he sound level is changed.
F/ C (Fahrenheit or Celsius)
The oven cont rol is set to use Fahrenheit temperat ures
(F), but you can change it to use Celsius temperat ures (C).
Select Product Sett ing in t he Smart HQ app and F/ C to alter
bet ween temperat ure scales displayed.
Adjust t he Oven temperature
This feat ure allows t he oven baking and convect ion baking
temperat ure to be adjusted up to 35ºF hot ter or down to 35ºF
cooler. Use t his feat ure if you believe your oven temperat ure
is too hot or too cold and wish to change it . This adjust ment
affect s Bake and Convect ion Bake modes. Select Product
Sett ing in t he Smart HQ app.
Auto Oven Light
When t his feat ure is enabled, t he oven light will t urn on for
every oven cycle. Select Product Sett ing in t he Smart HQ app
to t urn t his feat ure on or off.

Bake Sett ing
This feat ure allows you to set default Bake set t ings to
Tradit ional Bake or Convect ion Bake Mult i in t he Smart HQ
app. See Cooking Modes sect ion for more det ails.
Broil Sett ing
This feat ure allows you to set default set t ings to Broil High or
Broil Low in t he Smart HQ app. See Cooking Modes sect ion
for more det ails.
SABBATH MODE
Cert ain models comply wit h t he St ar- K Jewish Sabbat h
requirement s for use during t he Sabbat h and holidays. For
t he lat est list of models, see st ar- k.org .
St art Baking
To st art baking use your Smart HQ mobile app. (See
Connect ing your WIFI Enabled Oven t o download t he app).
Enable Sabbat h mode in t he app and t he oven knob backlight
will t urn solid green. This operat ion should t ake place before
t he Sabbat h or Holiday begin. Sabbat h mode can only be
enabled in t he app.
Adjust ing t he Temperat ure
To adjust t he oven t emperat ure while in compliance wit h
Sabbat h requirement s, t he user must observe t he oven
Sabbat h mode solid green backlight . To adjust t he oven
t emperat ure, t he user must t urn t he oven knob t o t he
desired bake t emperat ure .
Sabbat h Bake can only be init iat ed aft er t he Sabbat h mode is
enabled t hrough t he app and by t urning t he oven knob on t he
unit t o t he desired bake t emperat ure.
Exit ing Sabbat h Mode
Sabbat h mode can be disabled eit her by t he app or pushing
t he oven knob in for 3 seconds.
Oven Light Operat ion
The oven light is OFF for durat ion of Sabbat h. Opening and
closing of t he door will not t urn t he oven light t o ON.
Sabbat h Mode Power Out age Not e
If a power out age occurs during a Sabbat h bake, t he unit will
ret urn t o Sabbat h mode when power is rest ored but t he user
will need t o t urn t he knob t o off and t hen back t o t he desired
t emperat ure. The unit will st art while complying t o t he St ar
K requirement s.
NOTE: If t his feat ure is enabled, you will not be able t o t urn
t he light off while t he oven is on.
