Starting installation telegrams
The installation telegrams are triggered after the add-on ra-
dio module has been placed on the meter by means of:
• the current parameterisation software in connection with
a PC, as well as an infrared communication head, a
WTT726. or a WFZ.PS
1. Point the infrared communication head, WTT726.
or WFZ.PS at the IrDA interface of the add-on radio
module and trigger the installation mode.
The installation process is indicated in the meter
display by the installation telegrams ("Inst 8" to
"Inst 1").
2. Check in the AMR network whether the new meter has
been successfully installed or check with a walk-by test
reading whether the new meter has been successfully
installed.
