to make sure the buckle is securely fastened.

Sit down.
With unbuckled carrier on
your lap, place baby onto
carrier facing away from
you with legs straddling
carrier.
BE PREPARED FOR BABY'S
SUDDEN MOVEMENT!
Support baby's chest while
bringing the carrier up
toward baby's chest.

While supporting baby with
your left arm, grasp the
buckle and place it over

the locking posts until

To unfasten the side-entry
buckle, support baby with
your left arm then squeeze
both release buttons on
the buckle and remove

it from the locking
posts .

Make sure baby is comfortable with legs fully through leg
openings , and baby's arms resting above the side-entry

buckle . You should be able to fit two fingers between

the baby's leg and the leg openings
MAKE SURE ALL BUCKLES ARE FASTENED SECURELY.
Fold head support

then place the head support
buckle over the locking

post until you hear an

audible click. Pull on the
buckle to make sure it is
securely fastened.
Repeat on the other side.

To unfasten the head
support buckle, squeeze
both release buttons on
the buckle and remove
