1) Confirm that the valve has been installed properly.
NOTE: The finished wall surface should be between
the min and max markings on the plaster guard. See
the TS1B installation section for further information.
Confirm that the two adapters were included in the
TS1B valve packaging.
2) Remove the four screws securing the plas-
ter guard to the valve body, then pull the
plaster guard outwards to remove it.
IM PORTANT: Retain the plaster guard
screws for Step 5.
3) Remove the plug inside of the valve body
using a 15/16" socket with extension.
4) Measure the distance X from the front
of the valve to the finished wall surface.
Compare that measurement to the follow-
ing table to determine which adapter to
install in the valve.

If the short adapter is required, push a
blunt-tipped object through the open end
of the long adapter to remove the strainer
and regulator. If the strainer becomes
deformed, form it back into shape, then
install the strainer and regulator into the
short adapter.
