Client Mode and Cloud
Once the DOMI control unit is turned on in AP Mode with the DOMI App started up, the
network settings may be changed by activating the Client Mode.
In Client Mode, the DOMI control unit is connected to a pre-existing local wireless
network.
DOMI may only be connected to networks with WPA or WPA2 encryption (password
protected Wi-Fi networks) and may not be connected to WEP networks (open Wi-Fi
networks not password protected).
The Client Mode also offers the possibility of enabling Cloud functions over the Internet,
which permit remote access to the DOMI control unit (for example, when away from
home).
Reset of the original configuration
By pressing the "RESET" button located on the back of the DOMI control unit, the original
factory settings (AP Mode) may be restored at any time. To restore factory settings, press
and hold down the reset button for at least five seconds until the LED turns yellow.
FIRST START UP (WIZARD)
• Connect the power cord. Turn DOMI on and stand by for the LED to flash BLUE.
• Download the DOMI app, for free, from App-Store or Play-Store
• Connect the Tablet or Smartphone to the DOMI-XXXXXX network (AP Mode), using the
network data on the label under the control unit.
• Start up the DOMI App.
During the first installation, follow the directions in the configuration wizard.
For subsequent App start ups: if the App does not automatically find the DOMI control
unit, click on the text bar in the upper centre of the screen (white on Android, grey on
iOS) and select "Find DOMI on the network".
