To use the recorded list with USB storage device

To use the USB storage device (over 40 GB) for USB Backup, execute the "USB HDD Format"
It initializes the HDD connected to the USB as disk mode for backup.
■
It is activated only when the USB HDD available for backup is connected.
■
When "USB HDD Format" is executed, all the data stored in the USB storage device is deleted.
■

While performing "USB HDD Format", do not remove the USB storage device.

It may cause error on the TV and the storage device.

The initialized USB storage device only operates in the "Recorded List".
■
The initialized USB storage device is not recognized by the PC.
■
When a USB storage device of less than 40 GB is connected, the "USB HDD Format" is not activated.
■
Supported maximum external HDD size for back-up is up to 400GB.

When attempting to access the USB Backup of the TIME MACHINE menu after the initialization, an alert

message is displayed and access is blocked because there are no backed up items.
When even a single backed up file exists through 'Copy to USB HDD' from the 'Recorded TV' of the TIME

MACHINE menu, the access to USB Back is allowed.
Only USB HDD that are over 40 GB and 1 partition can be used for
