Connecting the discharge line
• Installing the pressure control unit:
- Screw adapter
- Screw adapter
- Ensure that all seal rings between all connections have been properly inserted.
• Screw the discharge line onto the 3-way connector
• Assemble the intake and discharge lines in such a way that they do not place the pump under
any mechanical strain.
Connecting the power supply and operation
• Open all shut-off valves in the discharge line (accessories, water stop, etc.) so that any air in
the intake line can escape.
• Connect the power cable to an earthed 220-240V 50Hz power supply (10 amp fuse minimum).
• Lift and hold the discharge hose at least 1m vertically above the pump (to prevent any flow
medium from escaping from the pump via the discharge hose). Press the on/off switch. The
pilot lamp inside the switch will light up when motor is switched on. Put down the discharge
hose after the pump has primed.
NOTE: The maximum self-priming head of 8m is only achieved if
the pump is filled until it overflows via the filter chamber and the
discharge hose is held at least 1m higher, so that no water can escape via the
discharge hose.
