operAtion - Ventilation
Set the time switch to position 'OFF' before connecting the plug to the wall socket; this will make sure
that the appliance does not start immediately.
1. Put the fan on a level surface, with the grill facing the direction in which you wish to ventilate.
2. Push the oscillation button if you wish the fan to oscillate. Push out if you wish the fan to remain i n a
fixed direction.
3. Connect the plug to the wall socket.
4. Adjust the speed to the required level by pressing one of the three speed buttons.
Speed 1 the fan operates at low speed.
Speed 2 the fan operates at normal
speed. Speed 3 the fan operates at high
speed.
5. Set the timer switch to the required fan operating time. The fan will automatically stop at the end of t h e
set time. Switch the timer switch to position 'ON' if you do not wish to use the timer.
6. Stop the fan by turning the timer switch to position 'OFF'.
cleAninG And MAintenAnce
From time to time dust can accumulate in the fan housing, and on the fan blades. Remove the dust
with a brush and/or vacuum cleaner.

Verify that the appliance is not connected to the power supply before you clean it.
•
Make sure no moisture gets into the appliance.
•
Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes)
to clean the appliance.

Dispose of packaging material, such as plastic and boxes, in the appropriate waste containers.
•
When this product reaches the end of its useful life do not dispose of it by putting it in a dustbin;
hand it in at a collection point for the reuse of electrical and electronic equipment. Please refer to
the symbols on the product, the user's instructions or the packaging.

The materials can be re-used as indicated. Your help in the re-use, recycling or other means of
making use of old electrical equipment will make an important contribution to the protection of the
environment.
