TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
TRANSPORT
If transporting the machine on a bumpy road, drain the fuel first.
Do not use the machine when in a vehicle. Remove the machine from the vehicle and use it in a well-ventilated
area.
Avoid leaving the vehicle in sunlight when using the machine. If the machine is left in a locked vehicle for many
hours, high temperatures inside the vehicle can cause the fuel to evaporate and cause a possible explosion.
Wait 5 minutes after turning off the engine before transporting the machine.
Transport the machine with the motor switched off and the blade guard installed.
STORAGE
Store this tool in a safe, dry place with temperatures between 0º and 45ºC.
Wait for the machine to cool before storing.
To reduce the risk of fire, keep the engine, muffler and fuel tank clean by removing cut material, oil and grease.
Before storing the machine for a long period of time, ensure that the storage area is free of excessive moisture
and dust.
Store the machine out of the reach of children and where fuel vapor does not come into contact with flames or
sparks.
For long periods of storage, store the machine without fuel. The stored fuels must be stabilized with a stabilizer.
Remove the spark plug and pour about 3cm3 of oil into the cylinder through the hole in the spark plug. Slowly
slide the recoil starter 2 or 3 times so that the oil can cover the inside of the engine and replace the spark plug.
