8.5 FATAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Power consumption too high
Performance reduced
Leakage of the motor housing
DANGER ! Risk of injury due to electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury. Warning ! Before any trouble shooting, switch off the
product and keep other person away.
Probable causes
- There is no electric current
- There is no water
- The outlet pipe is clogged
- The turbine is blocked
- Presence of an air bubble
- The draining pipe diameter
is not suitable
- The outlet pipe is clogged
- The turbine is blocked
- Use instructions have not
been followed
- The motor automatically
switches to safety position
- The pipe is not suitable
- The water is too hot. The
overheat protection device
is stopping the pump
Problems
Solutions
- Ensure that the electric
current is on.
- Check the water height
- Clean the pipe
- Disassemble the base and
clean the turbine
- Tilt the pump to let out the
air bubble then put it back in
vertical position
- Replace the tube (19mm hose
is recommended)
- Clean the pipe
- Disassemble the base and
clean the turbine
- Check for the depth of
submersion.
- Replace the pipe following
use instructions
- Check that the water
temperature remains under
35°C.
